FUNDRAISER FOR MEDICAL DEBT RELIEF – More than 1 in 10 residents in Lehigh and Northampton counties are burdened by medical debt. Love Your Neighbor Churches and Friends are partnering with Undue Medical Debt this summer to raise $21,000 and abolish $3 million of debt in our region. Please see the forms in the back of the sanctuary if you wish to donate. Place your medical relief donation in the designated box in the rear of the sanctuary. We are accepting donations of cases of bottled water, or monetary donations for the purchase of water and soda, for the Community Picnic and Sunday Celebration being held on Sunday, August 16th, 3-7:00 pm, at Neffs. This event is hosted by all of the churches and friends participating, and everyone’s invited! RSVP recommended. See the flyer for details. Donations can be brought in Sunday mornings or weekday mornings from 9 am to 1 pm.
Please see the signup sheet in the back of the sanctuary. Come to the FREE community picnic on Sunday, August 16th to hear the final amount raised and celebrate with us.
FAITH NIGHT @ the Iron Pigs! August 28th 6:45pm. Join us at the Iron Pigs game for Faith Night, Post game fireworks, Testimonial with Iron Pigs Players. $25 for 1 ticket and a Grace UCC shirt. All are welcome, friends, family, church members. Please place your orders for tickets and shirts prior to July 28th. UPTOWN STREET FAIR – Grace will be having a tent at the Northampton Uptown Street Fair on Saturday, September 12th from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. Watch for more information to come!
HOMEMADE HALUPKI DINNER – Please mark your calendar for the upcoming Halupki Dinner on Saturday, October 10 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Dinner includes 2 halupkies, roll, mashed potatoes, cupcake, coffee, tea and lemonade. Cost is $13 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Quart size containers of Cabbage and Noodles to go $6. No pre-orders please.
