In order to fulfill our mission, Grace organizes and participates in a variety of community initiatives. If any of them speak to you, please contact the church office to learn more about how you can get involved. We’d love to have your help!

Community Dinners

Grace hosts several dinners throughout the year that extend far beyond just our members – the entire local community joins in! Our dinners bring together people from all over Northampton, Coplay, Whitehall, and beyond. We love seeing everyone get together to enjoy some delicious food, good company, and have lots of fun!

These dinners also serve those who may be going through a difficult time in our community. Grace works with the local school district to identify who these families are and offers for them to attend free of charge.

Get involved by volunteering to help set/clean up or make/serve the food.

Lehigh Conference of Churches Soup Kitchen

On the third Tuesday of every month, volunteers join Grace’s pastor at the Lehigh Conference of Churches Kitchen (located 457 W. Allen St., Allentown) to distribute meals to people who face food insecurity. The day begins at 9:30 am, with lunch being served at 11:45 am.

We invite you to join us and experience the fulfillment of living your faith by serving the stranger. If you would like to volunteer, just contact the church office so we know to expect you. Who knows, maybe you’ll find Jesus before you while you serve.

Spotlight on Local Business

Grace is committed to supporting our community, which is why we shine a spotlight on some of our local businesses in our monthly newsletter. By supporting local, you’re helping your neighbors provide for their families, offer more jobs in the area, and keep more money circulating in the community where it can be reinvested.

If you would like Grace to highlight your local business, please contact the church office for more information.

Card Drives

Grace organizes card drives for various reasons throughout the year. For example, we organized a birthday card drive when one of our oldest members turned 100. Or, we also organize card drives if someone is going through a hard time and needs a little cheering up.

Get involved by requesting a card drive for someone or participating in an existing drive.

Charity Drives

Grace hosts various charity drives throughout the year, such as our monthly “Food Bank Sundays” and our Christmas-time “Family Gathering” gift drive for local families in need. These drives are always announced on various platforms so you know what’s going on.

Get involved by donating to an existing drive or contact the church office with a proposed idea.

Friendly Faces

Sometimes, you just need to know that someone cares. Grace makes a point to reach out to those in the community that could benefit from seeing a friendly face. For example, this past year a local man with a terminal illness was not expected to live until Christmas. So, Grace helped Christmas come early by gathering volunteers to sing Christmas carols to him and his family.

If you know someone who would be cheered by some company, please contact the church office and we will do our best to help.
